What English contribution means for your estimate
ATAR · Hayzum editors · 04/08/2026 · Updated 31/08/2026

In several states, an English study must sit in the primary four subjects that contribute fully to the aggregate. That is why changing an English score often moves an estimate more than changing a fifth subject that only contributes 10%.
Check the state page that matches your certificate. The rule is public, but the scaled tables are not. Use the calculator as a planning range, then confirm with your school and admissions centre.
