UAC vs VTAC: choosing the right admissions centre
Admissions · Hayzum editors · 09/08/2026 · Updated 31/08/2026
UAC ranks NSW and ACT students. VTAC ranks Victorian applicants. QTAC, TISC, SATAC, and TASC cover the other states and territories.
You apply through the centre that matches the course and the certificate you are completing. Hayzum has a calculator for each system because the contribution rules differ. Official offers still come from the admissions centre, not from a website estimate.
